Lions Club of Kattappana Green City is a proud branch of Lions Clubs International — the world's largest service organisation, working through more than 200 countries with over 50,000 clubs and a membership of more than 1.4 million.

Our club was started in 2019 as part of Lions Clubs International, District 318-C, which comprises the Lions clubs of the Ernakulam, Alappuzha (Aleppey) and Idukki revenue districts. We began with 5 members and today have 19 young, well-educated and knowledgeable members drawn from the professions, industry, business, social and various other fields.

We are well known for a wide range of social, need-based activities across both urban and rural areas.

• ✓Diabetes & Vision screening camps for rural families.
• ✓Environment — tree drives, waste management & clean water.
• ✓Hunger relief and support for those in need.
• ✓Youth & education scholarships and Leo Club mentoring.
• ✓Sight for Kids — a Lions Clubs International initiative providing free school-based vision screenings, eye-health education and eyeglasses to children in low-income and underserved communities.
• ✓Home for the Homeless & Swapnabhavanam (Dream Home) — projects to build safe, low-cost houses for underprivileged, land-owning families.
• ✓General medical camps — free health check-ups for the community.
